Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is unfortunate that an unnecessary controversy has been kicked up over the issue of conferring the title of `Father of the Indian Constitution' on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Without going into the correctness or otherwise of the stand taken by L.K. Advani on the issue, one wonders whether conferment of such a title is really needed to recognise Dr. Ambedkar who has already earned his rightful place in history as a great leader of not only Dalits but of all Indians. D. Natarajan, Chennai
