Mumbai
Jan. 7.
The Shiv Sena, a major partner in the BJP-led coalition Government at the Centre, tonight ruled out any alliance with the Sharad Pawar-led Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), puncturing the prospect of an NDA-NCP alliance for the 2004 Lok Sabha elections.
Emerging out of a two-hour meeting of senior Sena leaders here, the Opposition leader in the Maharashtra Assembly, Narayan Rane, told reporters that the Sena would not have any electoral alliance with the NCP. UNI
