Tamil Nadu keeps overall title

CHENNAI, JAN. 8. Tamil Nadu did well in most of the events to retain the overall championship in the South Zone inter-Revenue sports meet at the Nehru Stadium here on Thursday.

Karnataka finished runner-up and Andhra third. Anju George was the individual champion in the women's section and P. Ramachandran and K. Rathnakumar shared the men's individual honours. The Tamil Nadu athletes and swimmers swept the titles without facing any resistance.
