BANGALORE, JAN. 8. The Chief Minister, S.M. Krishna, informed Shashil G. Namoshi (BJP) in the Legislative Council today said that there was no proposal before the Government to completely withdraw the pension facility and dearness allowance extended to those retired government employees who had crossed 75 years of age. In a written reply, Mr. Krishna also clarified that no committee had been constituted to go into the proposal and there was no question of it submitting a report on the issue. Several retired State Government employees, who had crossed 75 years, had recently held a demonstration in various parts of the State protesting against a reported proposal in this regard.
