VIJAYAWADA, JAN. 8. The SCR General Manager, T. Stanley Babu, has asked the Women's Welfare Organisation to open centres even in small stations and extend services to lower grade railway staff. He was inaugurating the `Sapta Swara', an exhibition organised by the SCR Women's Welfare Organisation at the Railway Stadium here today. Mr. Stanley Babu said Indian Railways, in association with the State Government, would soon open counselling centres for street children and beggars. Efforts would be made to improve sanitation at all railway stations. The SCR Women's Welfare Organisation zonal president, Vasantha Stanley, the divisional president, Gowri Ramanathan, the Vijayawada DRM, R. Ramanathan, and others were also present. Earlier, Mr. Stanley Babu inaugurated 16 surveillance video cameras installed at the Vijayawada railway station for crime control.
