Two killed in accident

ANANTAPUR, JAN. 9. A couple was killed and four others injured when a lorry coming from the opposite direction rammed into their car near Kadiri on NH-205 in the district in the wee hours of Friday.

According to police, a family of First Road in Anantapur were on their way to Tirupati when the accident occurred. Pratap (40) and Sandhya (32) were killed on the spot while Kalavati (60), Mohanraj (38), Krishna Chaitanya (10) and the car driver were injured. Police moving in the `Rakshak' vehicle admitted the injured to the Government Area Hospital at Kadiri. The condition of Mohanraj and the car driver was said to be serious.
