CHENNAI, JAN. 9. Laser Soft Infosystems, focussed on the development of a range of core banking products, is drawing up a mega plan to break into the international sphere in a major way. The Chairman and Managing Director of the company, Suresh Kamath, estimates the global business for core banking products at $15 billion. Already, 25 banks have one product or the other of Laser Soft. It has a presence in West Asia where it has Bank Muscat Omen, Bank Muscat Baharin and Janata Bank in the UAE as its clients. Just a few weeks ago, it landed a consultancy assignment from First National Bank in South Africa. Our Special Correspondent
