Hearing on plea against doctors' stir on January 20

HYDERABAD, JAN. 9. A Division Bench of A.P. High Court, comprising the Chief Justice, Devinder Gupta, and the Justice, G. Rohini, on Friday adjourned the writ petition regarding the strike by junior doctors in the State.

S. Raju, practising advocate of the court, filed the writ petition in public interest contending that junior doctors do not have any fundamental right to strike. The Junior Doctors' Association requested time to file counter affidavit. The case will now be listed on January 20 immediately after Pongal vacation.
