Clear sky forecast

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 25.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 14.5 degrees Celsius on Friday. The humidity was 45 per cent.

At the airport, the maximum temperature was 25.2 degrees Celsius and the minimum 14.3 degrees Celsius. The humidity was 44 per cent.

The forecast for Saturday is that the sky will be clear. Fog/mist is likely during early morning. The minimum temperature will be around 14 degrees Celsius.

Diabetes check-up

The Vijaya Bank Cultural Club will organise the 18th State-level Inter-High School Quiz here on Sunday. The quiz, which has no entry fee, attracts a large number of schools each year and is distinguished by the bank's chairman himself asking the first question in the first round. Each participant is given a gift with trophies for the first and second top-ranking team and a trophy for the best out-station team.
