MUMBAI, JAN. 10. A.T. Rayudu will lead India in the International Cricket Council's under-19 World Cup, scheduled from February 9 to March 7, 2004 in Bangladesh, according to a BCCI release. The Hyderabad batsman has been named skipper of a 15-member squad announced on Saturday. The players are undergoing a conditional camp at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. The team, coached by Robin Singh, will leave on February 9 from Kolkata for Dhaka. The squad: A.T. Rayudu (Hyderabad, Capt.), Dinesh Karthik (Tamil Nadu, vice-capt.), Robin Uthappa (Karnataka), Praful Waghela (Mumbai), Faiz Fazal (Vidarbha), Shikhar Dhawan (Delhi), Suresh Raina (U.P.), Abhishek Sharma (Delhi), Praveen Gupta (U.P.), V.R.V. Singh (Punjab), R.P. Singh (U.P.), R.P. Singh (U.P.), Sunny Singh (Haryana), Gaurav Dhiman (Karnataka) and Nikhil Rathod (Saurashtra). Coach: Robin Singh; Physio: Dr. Kinjal Suratwala.
