`BJP wants to retain power by any means'

KANPUR, JAN. 10. The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party president, Mulayam Singh Yadav, today charged the BJP with wanting to remain in power ``by hook or by crook'' and said that his party would not enter into an alliance with any party before the Lok Sabha polls.

``All alliances that had been made earlier were broken on the issue of distribution of tickets'', Mr. Yadav told reporters here. — PTI
