Evangelist participates in peace festival

MAHBUBNAGAR, JAN. 10. K.A. Paul, an evangelist, and Evander Holyfield, renowned boxer, participated in the two-day, `Millennium Peace Festival', organised at Boys Junior College grounds here on Friday.

The grounds were packed to capacity. Dr. Paul prayed for world peace on the occasion.

The evangelist has toured 69 countries spreading the message of brotherhood and peace.

The Minister for Law, P. Chandrasekhar, the Rajya Sabha member, R. Ramachandraiah, the Mahbubnagar MP, A.P. Jeetender Reddy, the Nagarkurnool MP, Jagannath, the vice-chairman of the meeting's organising committee, Devasahayam, and others took part in the festival.
