PATNA, JAN. 10. One person was killed and six injured in a fire in a commercial-cum-residential complex here today. Police said the victim died of suffocation. The fire, said to have been caused by an electric short-circuit in the basement, spread to all the floors of Shanti Commercial complex. The condition of three, admitted to the Patna Medical College Hospital, was said to be serious. Police have decided to file a case against the complex owners for not providing the required fire fighting measures. While several people managed to escape on their own, the fire brigade helped many to come out of the complex.
