HYDERABAD, JAN. 10. The APCC chief, D. Srinivas, has lashed out at the Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, for repeatedly raising the issue of the AICC president, Sonia Gandhi's foreign origin. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Mr. Srinivas said that Ms. Gandhi's nationality was not the concern of the masses reeling under the anti-people policies of the Telugu Desam. The issue was long settled as the Supreme Court had already ruled in her favour, he said. Mr. Srinivas asked Mr. Naidu to stop commenting on the internal matters of the Congress like its leadership issue, as they were all democratically elected and had not come to power through backdoor machinations. Urging the Chief Minister to maintain decorum in public life, he said it was unfortunate that Mr. Naidu was targeting a woman unabashedly for political gain.
