VISAKHAPATNAM, JAN. 10. With Sankranti festival fast approaching, the families of 77 fishermen, who are under detention in Orissa on the charge of violating the fishing zone limit, are eagerly waiting for their release joining them for the festival. The 77 fishermen onboard 11 mechanised fishing boats were intercepted by the Coast Guard and were handed over to the Orissa Government's Fisheries Department on January 1. The fishermen pleaded that they were not aware of the extension of the non-fishing zone.
