Interview for supervisors on January 13

MADURAI, JAN.10. The interview for selection of 220 supervisors and 440 bartenders for running bars attached to the Indian Made Foreign Liquor outlets in the corporation, municipality and town panchayat limits will be held at the Collectorate between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on January 13.

An official release said here today that candidates, who wished to appear for the interview for supervisor, should have obtained a degree from a recognised university. They should not have crossed 35 years as on January 1. Each of the selected candidates would get a consolidated pay of Rs.3000 per month.

The candidates, who wanted to apply for the post of bartender, should have passed the Standard VIII examination, besides being in the age group of 21-45 years.

A consolidated pay of Rs.1500 per month would be given to every selected candidate.

Candidates, who applied for both the categories, would be selected on the basis of seniority on the live-register maintained by employment exchanges. The jobs were temporary in nature. All eligible candidates, who had registered their names with the exchange, could take part in the interview, the release said.

Each of the candidates selected for the supervisor would have to remit a deposit of Rs.50, 000 while every candidate selected for the post of bartender should deposit Rs.10, 000.

The successful candidates would be posted in any area within the corporation, municipality and town panchayat limits.

The candidates, who would like to appear for the interview, should bring original certificates to prove their educational qualification, employment card and two copies of the recently taken photos.
