COIMBATORE Jan. 10. The Continuing Education Cell of the PSG Polytechnic College will conduct short-term programmes on `CNC Programming and Maintenance' from January 12.

Exchange

The Ganapathy Branch of the State Bank of India will exchange soiled/mutilated notes and distribute coins of denominations five, two and one on January 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Selected

An NSS volunteer of Dr. NGP Arts and Science College, T. Sujatha, has been selected for the Republic Day Parade 2004 to be held in New Delhi. According to a college release, she would participate in various training programmes and cultural events.

Puja

`Laksha Archana' with flowers will be performed at the Teppakulam Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple from January 15 to 17, according to a release from the temple.

Concert

The inaugural concert of the cultural wing of the Sathguru Sri Thiyagaraja Trust, `Sri Rama Gana Sabha', will be held on January 26. Award

K.N. Joghan of Sri Iyyan Tea Industries, the Nilgiris, has been selected for the National Excellence Award to be given away on January 20 by the National Awareness Forum.
