HYDERABAD, JAN. 10. The City Police Commissioner, R.P. Singh, has imposed certain curbs for movement of lorries and Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, in view of the Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee's, two-day visit to the State capital. In a release he said that two-wheelers coming for the public meeting could be parked in Mahboob College near Patny, Wesley College lane, Paigah Plaza lane, Hockey Grounds, Keyes High School and St. Patrick's School lanes. A press release said that accordingly, lorries and LMVs would not be allowed on the S.P. Road from Punjagutta crossroads to St. John's Church via Rajiv Gandhi statue, Greenlands, Begumpet and Parade Grounds, Raj Bhavan Road from Rajiv Gandhi statue to Secretariat, Upper Tank Bund and Minister Road. Lorries and LMVs coming for the public meeting from Warangal side will be allowed to pass via Uppal, Habsiguda, Tarnaka and those from Vijayawada, Nagarjunasagar Road and Kurnool side will be allowed via L.B. Nagar Ring Road and Uppal. Vehicles from Chevella will be diverted at Retibowli towards Rajendranagar, via Mahboob Nagar crossroads, L.B. Nagar Ring Road and Uppal. They will be allowed to be parked in the RRC Grounds. Lorries and LMVs from Nizamabad will come via Bowenpally crossroads, Tadbund, Balamrai, Brooke Bond, those from Karimnagar will come via Holy Family Church and Old Dairy Farm and those from old Bowenpally highway will be allowed via Kukatpally, Balanagar and Bowenpally crossroads. All the vehicles will be parked in the Polo Grounds or surrounding areas.
