BELLARY, JAN. 11. Four students of Kotturswamy B.Ed. College have bagged ranks in the examinations conducted by Gulbarga University in October 2003. M. Bhavani has bagged the fourth rank (88.1 per cent marks), A. Rajani seventh (86.9), Sugur Vedavati eighth (86.3), and S. Sameena ninth (86). The college has also recorded 100 per cent pass. Of the 97 candidates, 93 passed with distinction and the rest in first class. Kolur Basavanagoud, MP and president of the Veerashaiva Vidyavardhak Sangha, which runs the college, the members of the governing council, the principal and staff have complimented the rank-holders.
