Hopes for a major breakthrough in talks
ISLAMABAD,
JAN. 11.
The Pakistan Prime Minister, Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, has said that he was hopeful of a ``major breakthrough'' in the composite dialogue between India and Pakistan beginning next month. Mr. Jamali, who met the former Pakistan President, Farooq Ahmad Leghari, said that recent overtures between Pakistan and India and composite dialogue scheduled between them next month will hopefully lead to a ``major breakthrough'' to bring about peace in the region.
