COIMBATORE, JAN. 11 . The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will offer a short-term training on `production and marketing of medicinal plants' from January 27 to 31 for entrepreneurs, consumers, traders, exporters, herbal processing companies and those who want to establish herbal-based business. A press release from the TNAU said the programme would be conducted from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all working days. Board and lodging expenses should be met by the trainees. The registration fee for the course was Rs. 3,000 and the payment should be made in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of the Dean (Horticulture), payable at the State Bank of India, TNAU Branch, Coimbatore-641003. It should be sent to the Dean Horticultural College and Research Institute at the TNAU. The first 30 people who registered would be given training on a first-come-first-served basis.
