Municipal engineers' plea

KOCHI, JAN. 12 . In a resolution passed at the recently concluded State conference of the Kerala Municipal Graduate Engineers Association, the engineers decided to demand the status of Government Service for their service at municipalities.

Addressing a press meet here today, the newly elected president of the association, T.P. Gopinath, said they would demand removal oft the disparity in the special rules for municipal engineers.

The association will also request the Government to make more appointments in the engineering department for better functioning of the municipalities.
