Baby boy in `amma' cradle

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM. Jan. 13.A baby boy was found abandoned at the `Amma' cradle run by the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare, on Monday evening.
A press note issued here today by the Council, said the baby, approximately three days old, was the 25th to be abandoned in the Amma cradle since its inauguration on November 14, 2002 and the 10th boy so found.
The baby, which weighs 2.45 kg, has been admitted to the SAT hospital for being administered first-aid. The `ayahs' of the Council have named the baby `Robin.
At present there are 20 babies under the care of the Council.
