Committee meet decided earlier: Pinarayi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 13. The CPI(M) State secretary, Pinarayi Vijayan, has termed mischievous reports suggesting that the CPI(M) State secretariat had, at its meeting which concluded here on Sunday, decided to convene a meeting of the party State committee from February 11 to 15 to discuss the allegations relating to the People's Plan Campaign.

In a statement here today, Mr. Vijayan said the decision to hold the meeting from February 11 to 15 was taken much before the secretariat met and in view of the meetings of the party politburo and Central committee in Hyderabad by January end.
