Vijayawada
By Our Special Correspondent
VIJAYAWADA, JAN. 13. The senior Congress leader and former MLA, Jaleel Khan, on Tuesday criticised the BJP leadership's decision to dissolve Parliament and conduct early elections. Addressing a press conference here, he said the problems faced by the common man such as the hike in the prices of essential commodities, petrol and transportation did not figure in the BJP's national meet nor did incidents of communal violence in several States and the attack on the Parliament. The decision to advance the elections clearly reflected that the BJP lacked confidence in its performance over the past four year. Hence, it was seeking an early mandate and raking up issues like Ayodhya and Sonia Gandhi's foreign origin.
