CHENNAI, JAN. 14. Peter Svidler and Peter Leko joined Viswanathan Anand in the lead after the third round of the Corus chess tournament at Wijk aan Zee. Peter Svidler crushed the 2002 winner, Evgeny Bareev, in just 17 moves while Leko split points with Veselin Topalov. The results (third round): Peter Leko (Hun) 2 drew with Veselin Topalov (Bul) 1.5, Vladimir Akopian (Arm) 1.5 drew with Jan Timman (Ned) 1, Viktor Bologan (Mda) 1.5 drew with Vladimir Kramnik (Rus) 1.5, Peter Svidler (Rus) 2 bt Evgeny Bareev (Rus) 1.
