BPL mobile launches two new plans

COIMBATORE: In an effort to redefine the entry barrier in the post-paid segment, BPL Mobile has launched a `wire-free Rs. 99 plan'. According to Ishwar Kumar, Chief Operating Officer of BPL Mobile, Tamil Nadu, outgoing calls would be Rs. 2.30 per minute to GSM mobiles, WLL and landline with incoming calls free. And SMS would be charged at Re. 1 to any mobile phone in the world.

In addition, there is another plan at Rs. 999 for new activations at zero monthly rentals for six months and it would give the subscriber 50 mobile-to-mobile minutes free every month.
