PATNA, JAN. 14. The Defence Minister, George Fernandes, suffered minor injuries when his car rammed a stationary truck on the Fatuha-Biharsharif national highway last night. He was on his way to the Rajgir Circuit House after attending a function at Hilsa. Poor visibility owing to fog was stated to be the cause of the accident. The driver suffered serious injuries. Mr. Fernandes complained of headache and pain in the legs. He was brought to Danapur by a special train and taken to the Army Hospital. He was later taken to Delhi by a special IAF plane. ``For a while I thought I was dead,'' he said and added that he was fit.
