Government to go in for vote on account

By Our Special Correspondent

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 14. The Kerala Government will seek a vote on account instead of passing the full budgetary demands for the coming financial year during the Assembly session beginning tomorrow.

The Chief Minister, A.K. Antony, told presspersons here on Wednesday that the Budget session of the Assembly, beginning with the customary address of the Governor, would be curtailed in view of early elections to the Lok Sabha. As per the original schedule, the House would adjourn sine die on April 7 after passing the full budget and transacting other Government business.
