KOZHIKODE, JAN. 14 . The BJP State president, P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, today claimed that more people from different sections of society would join his party in the near future. Speaking to presspersons here, the BJP leader said a number of organisations, including those representing Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, had come forward to join the BJP and support it in the next Lok Sabha polls. Claiming that the political climate in the State was changing in favour of his party, Mr. Sreedharan Pillai said it was mainly due to the confusion prevailing in both the UDF and the LDF. Asked if his party leader and Union Minister of State for Defence, O. Rajagopal, would contest the coming Lok Sabha polls, he said partymen in the State wanted the BJP leader to do so. But it was for the central leadership to take a final decision in the matter.
