Letters to the Editor
Sir, The editorial, `Driving through the fog,' (Jan. 15) is an excellent analysis of the reasons behind the moderates in the All Parties Hurriyat Conference unconditionally accepting the Centre's invitation for talks with the Deputy Prime Minister, L. K. Advani, on January 22. The development is obviously a follow-up to the recent India-Pakistan peace initiatives and the Jammu and Kashmir Government's `healing touch' policy and raises hopes of peace returning to the Valley.
Nalini Vijayaraghavan,
* * * Sir, The APHC leader, Moulvi Abbas Ansari's acceptance of the Centre's invitation is a good sign.
A.P.V.S. Naga Mohan,
