TIRUCHI, JAN. 17 . Under the auspices of the Sri Ramakrishna Vivekananda Sevashramam, `Bharat cultural examination', a contest for school pupils was conducted in which students of V Standard to Plus-Two course from a total of 140 schools in different districts and adjoining Pondichery, participated. Prizes were distributed to the students who topped in the examination at a function held here yesterday. Swamy Krishnananda, founder of the Sevashramam, said a three-day cycle campaign was launched in various parts in and around Tiruchi city, for propagating the teachings of Swamy Vivekananda among the masses. The headmaster of the Nadar Middle School, Kovilpatti, Shanmugakani, gave away prizes to the students.
