IMFL supervisors, attendants recruitment later this month

TIRUNELVELI, JAN.17 . The recruitment for IMFL bar supervisors and attendants for the district will be held in the third and fourth week of January.

According to an official statement, the selection of supervisors would be held on January 20, 21 and 22, in which graduates under the age of 35, as on January 1, 2004, can take part. And the recruitment of bar attendants would be held from January 28 to February 1, in which aspirants, who have passed VIII Standard and are in the 21-45 age group, as on January 1, 2004, can participate.

While the bar attendants would get a consolidated pay of Rs.1,500, the supervisors would get Rs. 3,000 as salary. The selected bar attendants and supervisors would have to submit a demand draft for Rs.10,000 and Rs.50,000 respectively towards security deposit.

The aspirants should bring certificates or proof to show their educational qualification, community, residential address and two passport size photographs.For the post of bar attendants, those, who have registered themselves with the Employment Office till 1982, should appear for the recruitment on January 28. The selection would be held on January 29 (for the aspirants registered between January 1, 1983 to December 31, 1983), January 30 (for candidates registered between January 1, 1984 and June 30, 1985), January 31 (for those registered between July 1, 1985 and June 30, 1986) and February 1 (for aspirants registered between July 1, 1986 and December 31, 1986).

The list of successful bar attendants would be released at the DDC hall in the Collectorate on February 2.

For the post of supervisors, the graduates, who have registered their names in the Employment Exchange till 1996, should appear for selection on January 20. The selection would be held on January 21 (for the aspirants registered between January 1, 1997 to December 31, 1997) and January 22 (for candidates registered between January 1, 1998 and December 31, 1998).

Candidates from the Scheduled Tribe category can appear for the selection on anyone of the days.

Interview for bar tenders on Jan.22, 23

The Collector, P. Senthil Kumar, said interview for bar tender posts in the IMFL shops being operated by the TASMAC in the district would be held at the Collectorate between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on January 22 and 23.

The Collector said in a release on Friday that the interview would be held on January 22 for those candidates who had registered their names with the employment office till December 99 and for those applicants, who registered their names between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2003, the interview would be conducted on January 23.

Educational qualification for bar tender posts was a pass in Standard VIII and the age limit was between 21 and 45 years.

The TASMAC has plans to recruit persons for bar supervisors. Only male graduates aged between 21 and 35, who had registered their names on or before January 20, 2004, are eligible. The interview would be held between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on January 21 at the Collectorate.

Priority would be given to the candidates wait-listed for supervisory posts in the IMFL shops. Interested candidates may give their consent in writing to the TASMAC Manager, Dindigul on January 20.
