RAMANATHAPURAM, JAN.17. The police are on the look out for four persons attached to the Thankachimadam tollgate for demanding extra amount other than the rate fixed by the Government from a driver today. According to the police, four persons belonging to the tollgate demanded Rs.100 instead of Rs.40 from Marimuthu, driver of a tourist bus coming from Coimbatore while going to Rameswaram. But the driver refused to pay the extra amount than the rate printed in the receipt. When they insisted that the driver pay Rs.100, he lodged a complaint with temple police station at Rameswaram. The police have registered a case.
