Girls bag 43 gold medals in Karnatak University

DHARWAD, JAN. 17. Gloria Evangeline Karkakada (seven gold medals), and Gangammma Hiremath (six gold medals), postgraduate students of departments of Biochemistry, and Mass Communication and Journalism, topped the list of 93 students who received 143 gold medals at the convocation of Karnatak University here today.

Girls (43 medals) outnumbered boys in bagging gold medals. Thirty-three among the gold medallists received more than one gold medals. The following is the list of gold medallists. Ph.
