Ramu Kariat award for T.V. Chandran

THRISSUR, JAN. 17. The 14th Ramu Kariat Award, instituted by Arya-Thrissivaperoor, has been given to the director, T.V. Chandran, for his work, `Paadam Onnu Oru Vilapam'. The award, decided through a Gallup poll, carries a three-sovereign gold medal, citation and a statuette designed by Kanayi Kunhiraman. The Premji Award for life-time achievement, carrying a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 and a citation, has been conferred on KPAC Sulochana. The awards will be presented to the winners at a function at the Regional Theatre here on February 10.
