THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, JAN. 17. The completed applications for the entrance examinations for admission to engineering/medical courses-2004 should reach the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations(CEE), before 5 p.m. on January 31. A press note issued here by the CEE said applications received after the deadline would not be entertained under any circumstances. Candidates who are appearing for the higher secondary examinations in Kerala this academic year and those appearing for equivalent examinations conducted by other examination boards, are also eligible to write the entrance examinations. If such candidates have not yet received their register number, they should write `Not Received' in column 11 of the entrance application and write `Appearing' or `Appeared' in the `Passed or Appeared' column in the application form. Such candidates only need qualify themselves before the commencement of the centralised allotment process. The certificates _ such as those indicating nativity, course, regional reservation, community and income _ should be compulsorily given along with the application form. If such certificates are submitted separately, they would not be considered for granting the relevant benefits. If the candidate's date of birth has been indicated in the course certificate, the attested copy of the SSLC/equivalent examination certificate need not be submitted. Those who have already passed the qualifying examination should submit the marklist of the same, while those applying on the basis of their B.Sc degree, should submit the marklist for the degree course.
