NALGONDA, JAN.17. The State Government has accorded administrative sanction for the construction of Urdu Ghar-cum-shadikhanas in Narketpally, Tipparthy and Narayanapur at a cost of Rs. 7.5 lakhs each. Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, the local MP, Gutta Sukehender Reddy, said that the Principal Secretary to the Government, A. Ramalakshman, had issued orders to the Collector to identify suitable lands for the construction. He said the Government had agreed to sanction additional amount of Rs.10 lakhs each to the Urdu Ghar-cum-shadikhanas to be constructed at Chityal and Devarakonda thus making the revised administrative sanction of Rs. 17.5 lakhs and Rs. 21 lakhs respectively. Mr. Reddy claimed that the Chief Minister assured of examining his representation to introduce Urdu as second language in Telugu and English medium schools at the primary and high school levels and also to declare Urdu as the second official language in Nalgonda district. Earlier, addressing the district meet of the Telugu Yuvatha, the MP called upon youngsters to put their full efforts to bring the TDP back to power. He asked them not to mar the chances by raising petty issues during the campaign.
