Dialogue on Tulu drama today

MANGALORE, JAN. 17. The Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, Mangalore, and the Tulu Drama Artistes' Federation, Mangalore, have organised a dialogue on "Tulu drama: yesterday, today, and tomorrow,'' at the academy at Chavadi here on Sunday. The eminent drama director, P. Sanjeeva Dandekeri, will inaugurate the programme, says a press release from the Registrar of the academy, S.H. Shivarudrappa, here.

K.N. Tailor, drama director, and U.R. Chander, actor, will speak on "Tulu drama: yesterday''; Jeevan Ram Sullia, member of the academy, and K.J. Kokradi, drama artiste, on "Tulu drama: today''; and Chinna, member, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Academy, Kasargod, and Basuma Kodagu, drama director, on "Tulu drama: tomorrow.'' K. Anand Ganiga, drama director, will moderate the discussions.

The President of the academy, Vaman Nandavar, will preside over the programme.

A cultural programme by the film music director, Charan Kumar, and his troupe, sponsored by the Department of Kannada and Culture, would be organised on the occasion.
