British tourist shot dead

GWALIOR, JAN. 17. A British tourist was killed by unidentified gunmen at Orchha town in Madhya Pradesh. The police have identified the tourist as David Green from Durham.

Mr. Green, a painter who frequented the town of forts and palaces, was killed late on Friday. His body was brought to a hospital in Gwalior on Saturday for post-mortem.
