Six killed in rail accident

GAYA (BIHAR), JAN. 17 . Six people were killed and 15 injured in a collision between a passenger train and a rail engine near Jaddugram in Dhanbad division this evening, police said.

The 302 dn Varanasi-Asansol passenger train collided with an engine that had rolled down due to brake failure after hitting a cow on the Gaya-Koderma section.

Traffic was disrupted following the accident, police said, adding that two relief trains from Dhanbad and Mughalsarai had rushed to the scene.
