Clear sky forecast

A mainly clear sky with a likely minimum temperature of 14 degree Celcius is the forecast for Sunday.

The city on Saturday recorded a maximum temperature of 32.1 degree Celsius, minimum temperature of 13.9 degree Celsius, with a relative humidity of 29 per cent and nil rainfall.

bags prize

A student of Rishi Public School, P. Lakshmi Narayana, in the twin cities has bagged the first prize in the national-level essay competition on `Conservation of petroleum products'. The prize was given by the Governor, Surjeet Singh Barnala, according to a school press release.
