Traffic curbs for President's visit

HYDERABAD, JAN. 17. The city police announced restrictions on traffic movement on Sunday and Monday in connection with the visit of the President, A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, to the city.

Details of the traffic diversion are as follows: Sunday - (9 p.m. and 9.30 p.m.) Airport to L. V. Prasad Institute via HPS, Greenlands, Monappa Island, Panjagutta crossroads and Srinagar colony `T' junction. (11 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.) L. V. Prasad Eye Institute to Raj Bhavan via Srinagar Colony `T' junction, Panjagutta crossroads and Yashoda hospital.

Monday - (9.30 a.m. and 10.15 a.m.) Raj Bhavan to L.V. Prasad Eye Institute via Yashoda hospital, Monappa Island, Panjagutta crossroads and Srinagar colony `T' junction. (11 a.m. and 12.15 p.m.) L.V. Prasad Eye Institute to Electronics System Engineering Centre, RCI Complex, Kanchanbagh, via Srinagar `T' junction, Hotel Taj Krishna, Masab Tank, Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital, Humayunnagar police station, Mehdipatnam crossroads, Rethi Bowli, Moghal ka Nala, Attapur bridge, Hyderguda crossroads, Upperpally crossroads, Durganagar `Y' junction, Bandlaguda, Old Chandrayangutta crossroads, Hafeezbabanagar, DRDL and Balapur crossroads.

(2 p.m. to 3.15 p.m.) ESEC, RCI Complex, Kanchanbagh to Apollo DRDO Hospital, DMRL crossroads via Shivaji Chowk, DRDL crossroads and Phisalbanda crossroads. (3.15 p.m. to 3.45 p.m.) Apollo DRDO Hospital to KV School, Kanchanbagh via Owaisi hospital, Midhani depot and DRDO Township gate. (4 p.m. to 5.10 p.m.) KV Kanchanbagh to Indiria Vidya Niketan High School, Laldarwaza via Chandrayangutta crossroads, Falaknuma bridge, Engine Bowli, Aliabad and Nagulchinta.

(5.30 p.m. to 6.25 p.m.) Indira Vidya Niketan High School, Laldarwaza to Care Hospital, Banjara Hills via Aliabad, Shamsheergunj new road, Falaknuma bridge, Bandlaguda, Mylardevpally, Wuddamgadda, Aramgarh, Hyderguda crossroads, Laxminagar, Rethi Bowli, Humayunnagar police station, NMDC, Khaja Mansion, Road No. 12 junction, Food World and Taj Banjara. (6.30 p.m. to 7 p.m.) Care hospital to Airport via Taj Banjara hotel, Taj Krishna, Road Nos 7 and 4, Panjagutta, Monappa Island, Greenlands and HPS.
