Youth succumbs to injuries

KOCHI, JAN. 17. A youth who was seriously injured in an accident at Paravur on Friday died at the Medical Trust Hospital here today.

Vinod (33) of Vairattil House, Poothotta, who was employed at the Taj Malabar Hotel here, was injured after a tourist bus rammed into the bike he was riding. He was shifted to the Medical Trust Hospital from another hospital after his condition worsened this morning.

Dies of poisoning

A head constable attached to the Edapally Traffic Police Station died at the Medical Trust Hospital here today, after having allegedly consumed poison.
