Pensioners' demands
KOCHI,
JAN. 18.
The Kerala State Employees Provident Fund Pensioners' Association has demanded that the Employees Provident Fund related Pension Scheme of 1995 be revamped.
The Association also demanded that the minimum pension for those who had commuted their pension and those who had not commuted be fixed at Rs.1,000 and 1,500 respectively. The annual relief being announced by the Central Government for pensioner should be disbursed in the same year.
These demands were made at the State conference of the Association which was inaugurated by Sebastian Paul, MP, here today. The president of the Association, G.B. Bhat, presided.
