On the second day of the conference, a seminar on various subjects concerning water would be inaugurated by the well-known environmentalist, Vandana Shiva.

A public meeting will be held at Plachimada on January 22. It will be inaugurated by V.S. Achuthanandan, Leader of the Opposition. The noted critic, Sukumar Azhikode, will preside.
