BELLARY, JAN. 18. Kamalapur police conducted a raid at Hampi on Saturday night and arrested four persons on the charge of selling marijuana and liquor to foreigners. According to a police press release, the raid was conducted near the Gangamma Temple. Killed in accidents: Two motorcyclists and a pedestrian were killed in road accidents near Hospet on Saturday. According to the police, Shekar Nayak died on the spot when he was hit by a speeding vehicle while crossing National Highway 13 near Mariyammanahalli. Sativelu (25), an employee in Tungabhadra Steel Products, died when his motorcycle dashed against a pig near SGS Cross near Tungabhadra Dam. Anjani (25) of Gunda village died on the spot when he was hit by a lorry on the National Highway 13.
