Bhakti to spread Vedic knowledge

BANGALORE, JAN. 18. Bhakti International, a spiritual organisation that set up its centre here in December last, has taken up the task of bringing unity among people of different faiths.

Representatives of Bhakti, Bangalore, told presspersons here on Saturday that their work would involve teaching non-sectarian Vedic knowledge which was inclusive and tolerant. The Vedic tradition showed how consciousness was the basis of science and life in general.

Bangalore was chosen because it was important for technological advancement as well as traditional spiritual values, they said.
