HYDERABAD, JAN. 18. A Central team, consisting of eight members, arrived here tonight from Delhi on a three-day visit to the State for assessing the extent of damage caused to crops and properties due to the recent cyclonic storm in Krishna, Guntur and East and West Godavari districts.

On arrival, the team was received by officials of the Disaster Management Department.

After a briefing by officials on calamity, the team members left for the assigned districts. They will visit different places tomorrow for examining the crops that withstood the fury or withered.
