As many as 40 students from Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya and also Sikkim and Darjeeling came to the city as part of the Students' Experience in Inter-State Living project (SEIL) for a three-day tour on Thursday. Students who have been staying with some select families in various parts of the city visited Osmania Univeristy on Saturday. The Registrar, Mutha Reddi, felicitated the visiting students. Responding to the felicitations, students Anishrai (Sikkim) and Dicky (Mizoram) said that Hyderabad was a beautiful city and they were happy to visit the historic university. The North Eastern States' students wanted universities from this part of the country to extend higher education to them through various means and they hoped Osmania University would take the lead.
